This test shot was filmed around the actresses house, which in the scripts how I planned it. However, due to location requirements I was unable to film there after this test shot.
This test shot is a basic overview of the opening 2 minutes of the my short film. Furthermore, this shot will also based to introduce the audience to Cole, the main character within the story. She is shown to the audience at the beginning of the film as being the housekeeper, doing laundry and doing day to day household tasks.
During this test it starts with a outwards pan seeing glimpses of Cole getting the laundry and taking over the other room. When she walks over though one door as the camera goes though another. She is then shown to the audience. This is where she is seen with the LED on the side of her head, making the audience assume that she is different from the rest of the characters.
I recorded this test shot during the night which didn’t was bad because the only lighting was available was the normal house lighting, which was very artificial and left a very orange tint and also when she is at the iron board you can see the darkness though the windows which was not intended and looked awful.
